Comprising two shamisen player/vocalists, a contrabassist, and a percussionist, the ensemble weaves Tsugaru shamisen roots with Khaleeji rhythms, Indian raga, prog, jazz, and cinematic soundscapes. Recorded live to tape at Brewery Studios in Berlin and sculpted into wild, transcendent dimensions by producers Adam Sait and Pascal Karier, the album reflects deeply on human existence, nature, and transience.

1
I Dotanba: is it a day before the day?

2
II Nigōme no zasetsu

3
III Jinsei chōro no gotoshi, or, The Taniwha asked the butterfly, "what do you wanna wear in paradise?"

4
IV Saitara Bushi (lovesong to our toil)

5
V Mitsune Ondo

6
VI Kumonoko chirasu

7
VII Setogiwa: death before life
