In the band, he has gathered some of his favorite musicians from the Norwegian jazz and improvisation scene and written new music inspired by program music – music that depicts extra-musical phenomena. Moshagen's compositions explore the relationship between composed and improvised, and draw on references from 60s avant-garde jazz, classical impressionism and Norwegian folk music, among other things. The background for the instrumental composition is a love for the sound of the classic piano trio format, which he wants to expand texturally with violin, alto saxophone and trombone. The project started as a commission for Dølajazz in the fall of 2024 as a receipt for the talent award he received the previous year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHans P.
