Rhiannon Giddens, a regular at the Grammy Awards, won the Pulitzer Prize in Music in 2023, and attracted attention for her participation in Beyonce's "Cowboy Carter",
also attracted attention for covering "Omoide" in Japanese at her live performance.

This album is filled with sorrow, without even a trace of effeminacy. It had the biggest impact on me since I heard Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday."
I wonder if this album is like Tsune's "philosophy of life. It's painful to think that Tsune is mourning the dead in this way, in a place where no one knows
him. It's as if you can understand how Tsuneyoshi Suzuki interacts with people and on what basis he spins his words.
And then there will be no one left. "Surely there will be no one left" Tsune struggled in the midst of this, and arranged this work as if he was chipping
away at his own bones with a shiny knife. Hiroshi Mikami (excerpt from liner notes)
