Safari was a jazz-fusion unit led by keyboardist Toshiyuki Daitoku, who had recorded
with the likes of George Otsuka and Mukai Shigeru, and Gregg Lee, a Californian who
had previously played in fusion bands such as Caldera and Native Son.
