With 10, the Icelandic band ADHD presents its tenth album, marking a special milestone in a history that now spans seventeen years. Ten albums, countless concerts, and a ceaseless quest for new forms of musical expression have defined the quartet's journey. The creative energy that has driven ADHD since its inception remains undiminished. Over the years, however, their musical expression has evolved and deepened. 10 combines the band's signature intensity with a newfound maturity. Improvisation, dynamics, and the sensitive interplay between the four musicians remain central elements, while the music simultaneously feels more focused, deliberate, and immediate.

For this recording, the path led not to distant lands, but back to their own roots. The album was recorded at Studio Syrland in Iceland - a familiar setting that provided the perfect backdrop for this new production. A unique feature: for the first time in ADHD's history, part of the album was recorded live in front of an audience.

This immediate setting leaves a tangible mark on the sound. The music emerges not merely through the interaction of four musicians and their instruments, but in the presence of - and together with - the listeners. Tension, reaction, and atmosphere become integral parts of the musical process. This imbues the recordings with a distinctive presence and the vibrant energy that has always distinguished ADHD's live performances.
