Following the critical reception of Love Songs, Inflatable Dead Horse returns with Hello Magpie, a second album that took more than two years to complete.

Recorded in the Quercy region and carefully refined through an extended mixing process, the album marks a clear evolution in the band’s sound. The compositions are longer, the arrangements richer, and the music opens up to new influences ranging from krautrock to post-rock.

Tracks like A Pin Drops and Creator (All Kinds of Love) introduce hypnotic, repetitive structures, while others such as Fine Down Here, Sleep It Off and Drive Me Home retain the intimate and melancholic songwriting that defines Daniel Mark Williams’ work.
