Eight months after Marcenay, recorded as a trio with Emmanuel Bex and Simon Goubert, the saxophonist unveils the second installment of his diptych devoted to life in his adopted Burgundian village.
For this new opus, Temime surrounds himself with three longtime companions — Étienne Deconfin (piano), Sylvain Romano (double bass), and Antoine Paganotti — shaping a free, incandescent Power Quartet, always ready to venture off the beaten track.
Here, the worlds of Mireille Mathieu, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, and Michel Sardou intersect and transform one another.
