The album’s themes are simple and sincere.

Sincerity is Tom Poisson’s guiding principle: masculinity, the wrinkles at the corners of the eyes, the 47th President of the United States of America, Alzheimer’s disease, relationships, joy, longing… That’s the gist of it.

In terms of style, the writing is vivid and poetic rather than overly explicit, but Tom knows how to take us by the hand to help us understand and feel it for ourselves.

Tom has created this new album by blending acoustic guitars with synthesizers, but above all by surrounding himself with those he loves and has chosen.

Colotis Zoé (Caravane Palace) & Alice Chiaverini (aka Malice) each perform a duet with Tom on the album. Paul Roman provides the delicate arrangements on five tracks. Ludovic Bruni (Le Sacre du Tympan, Piers Facini…) and Denis Piednoir (producer of Tom Poisson’s previous album, Jean-Michel) have each taken on the production of one song. Alexandre Leauthaud (Les Fouteurs de Joie, Francis Cabrel) produces three tracks.
