Across its 11 tracks, the album explores themes of pain and vulnerability with stripped-back production, uncredited vocals from Shiloh Dynasty, and a guest appearance from Trippie Redd.
Supported by the single ‘Revenge’, 17 featured contributions from producers including Nick Mira, Taz Taylor, and Potsu, alongside X himself. The album reached #2 on the US Billboard 200 and went on to win Favorite Soul/R&B Album at the American Music Awards, cementing its place as one of the most influential crossover rap records of its era.
